What is included in a wedding at Crystal Cove Event Space?
For weddings, Crystal Cove Event Space is for ceremonies only.

Reception is not included. Please see our local recommendations for reception venues.
The beach ceremony location is included with:

  • 75 folding white chairs
    • (Additional chairs can be rented from venue up to 140 chairs at $2 per chair or from a rental service)
  • Bamboo Tiki ceremony arch (flowers not included)
  • Beach Cottage Access (Dressing Room, Restroom, Mini Kitchen, Living Room)
  • Electric: Two 3-prong 110v outlets outside on the building along beach available to plug in. Recommend at least a 50 ft extension cord to reach ceremony area.

Is the entire beach private? Can you close it off completely?
While we do put up private event signs for your event day, public access is still a possibility. The private beach ends at the rock barricade in the front of our property. All space between the rocks and the water are public domain.


Can I have my rehearsal at Crystal Cove?
Yes, your rental includes a (1) hour rental period the week of your wedding. Please schedule with the venue manager to ensure proper access. Our venue manager will be on-site but will not be able to run your rehearsal for you.


Will you line people up to walk down the aisle?
Unfortunately, our space only comes with a venue manager. However, we do partner with Master Plans Events & Designs, our in-house team of coordinators. If you would like someone onsite to handle timeline, logistics, and wedding party, please inquire about our a la carte services.


Is there a Dressing Room?
Yes, we have a beach cottage which can be used as a dressing room. To maximize your time at the beach, we strongly recommend that all hair and make-up be completed before arriving at the beach. The Dressing Room includes a vanity, private restroom, and a full-length 3-way mirror.


Are set up and clean up part of my rental time?
Yes. All set up and removal of personal items must happen during your rental period. If the space is not cleared during your rental period, additional overtime fees may apply.


Is there ramp access to the beach?
At this time there is not direct ramp access to the beach. We do have a paved area off to the side for guests with limited mobility. Please let us know if you would like any set up on the paved path.


What is parking like at the venue?
Parking can be paid valet, through Chart House or at the meters in front of the beach. Please ensure all your guests are aware they must pay as they do ticket unmarked cars.


Can we bring champagne or alcohol for the ceremony?
We do not allow any alcohol or glass bottles or glassware on property.


Do you provide catering?
Our venue only provides space for ceremony, but check out our preferred vendor list for cocktail and reception sites close by.


Can I bring a dog to my wedding?
Pets are allowed on the beach as long as they are leashed and any pet waste must be clean up by the event party signing the agreement.


Can we decorate the beach space?
Yes, you may add arranged aisle flowers on the sand or chairs. Please note that no glass may be used such as hurricane glass and open flame candles.


Can we put down rose petals or bring items to toss/release after the ceremony?
No, petals are not allowed because they will blow away in the sand and it is considered litter if it cannot be cleaned up. Rice, confetti, birdseed, flowers, flower petals, bubble, balloons, butterflies, birds, etc. cannot be tossed or released on the beach due to litter.
